You and I are probably a lot alike. We both have bills, wants, needs. And we both want money to pay for those bills, wants and needs. Now, with gas prices out of control, food prices on the rise, and paychecks not moving at all, something had to give. I had a few dozen domain names that I had registered but were sitting dormant. I had been reading a lot about Google Adsense and how guys were making a killing with it on their websites. I decided to give it a try. Following some advice from a few e-books that I bought, I setup my blog sites with Adsense plastered all over them, busted my hump to add content and get traffic, hoping to sit back and hear that sound of the cash register “Cha-Ching, Cha-Ching”.
The only sound I heard were the crickets outside.
I even spent money on Adwords to send traffic to my sites. I had good content, good articles, relevant information. But I wasn’t getting anything. To add insult to injury, Google decided about half of my clicks were “invalid” and refused to pay. Now, I’m not stupid, I know you don’t click your own ads. You don’t ask friends to click your ads, but they refused to budge.
All said, I spent at least a month and a half plus several hundred dollars to get these sites going. To date, my Adsense account: $16. Yep. $16.
I had to find another way. Then I stumbled on the Ebay Affiliate Program. I’ve bought and sold on Ebay before. I don’t have enough stuff to sell on Ebay, or i just don’t have a great sense of what to sell. But I just don’t like the whole, create listing, hope to sell, pack, wrap and ship, then deal with customers. blah. The Ebay Affiliate program was the answer I was looking for. Now, I could build sites, build traffic (which I’m good at), all based on Ebay product categories. Indeed, I could market what other people are selling on Ebay every day, and get a handsome affiliate commission.
But I needed some tools and some help. Then I stumbled on the Build A Niche Store (BANS) software. This is an easy to setup and use software system that creates these specialized websites just through some point and click screens. What’s even better, you can create as many stores as you have ideas for. Any Ebay category or search phrase is a good candidate. All I needed were some themes and some product ideas and I was all set.
Now, I just build traffic to my Ebay specialty stores and enjoy the constant income from the Ebay affiliate program. Being an Affiliate Marketer is a fun business and having software that pretty much does all my work for me is a huge plus.
